HEART-TOUCHING STAGING OF 'AKHIR KADON TAK'

A poignant staging of the play 'Akhir Kadon Tak' was held at Tantia University Sriganganagar.

The Red Art RJ Theatre Group gave a presentation in collaboration with the University's Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) under the Nasha Jagriti campaign of District Administration and District Police. Everyone in the packed auditorium was left teary-eyed when Lakshya, a Class-III student, recited … Rabba chuk ley khiloney, meri maa mod de. Vikram Jyani and Sahi Ram also portrayed the horrors of drug addiction through their talent.

Dr. Mohit Tantia, Vice Chairman of Tantia University, announced an incentive award of Rs 11,000 for Lakshya's soulful presentation. The students of the Faculty of Physical Education won applause by demonstrating yoga.(SUBHEAD)

Chief Guest, SHO Kuldeep Singh Charan and special guest, former District Excise Officer Bhupinder Singh, while appreciating Tantia University, said that everyone should cooperate in the campaign against drugs. Controller of Examinations Dr. Rajinder Godara proposed a vote of thanks.
