ABOHAR MC CARRIES 'MERA SHEHAR, MERA MANN' PROGRAM

As per the instructions of the Punjab Government and the orders of the Deputy Commissioner Dr. Senu Duggal, a cleanliness and plantation drive were conducted today by the Municipal Corporation under the program 'Mera Shehar Mera Mann'.

Chief Sanitary Inspector Iqbal Singh and Sanitary Inspector Ashwani Miglani said that today the MC team conducted a special cleanliness campaign in Ward No. 22 and 23 under the program and also planted saplings there.

They said that on this occasion the complaints related to sewerage of the wards were also resolved.

They appealed to the citizens to completely shun single-use plastic and contribute to improving the cleanliness of the city by disposing of the garbage of their houses and establishments in dustbins and not spreading dirt around them. Savinder Singh, JE Rashit Bajaj, Ajveer Singh, Gurinder Singh, Pradeep Kumar, Kulwinder Singh along with other staff members as well as ward representatives participated in the campaign that also covered RSD Girls Middle School in Nai Abadi area.
