Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann accompanied by Dr. Atul Fulzele, IPS, IG BSF Punjab Frontier reached JCP Hussainiwala on the occasion of National Martyrs Day and remembered the supreme sacrifice of our freedom fighters, Sardar Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev. Hon'ble Chief Minister laid the foundation stone for the proposed BSF Martyrs' Memorial at JCP Hussainiwala.
(SUBHEAD)At present, BSF Martyrs Memorial is situated at BOP Barrier for displaying the name of 22 BSF Soldiers who got martyred in the war of 1965 and 1971 at Hussainiwala. This new Martyrs' Memorial will conspicuously display names of all these BSF war heroes.
All the events on National Martyrs day at JCP Hussainiwala were organized under the overall guidance of Brig. Pawan Bajaj (Retd), DIG, SHQ BSF Ferozepur.
The BSF Commandants of Ferozepur Sector along with brave BSF troops were present there during the programme.
