Border Security Force (BSF) troops deployed at border on Friday morning , heard buzzing sound of a suspected drone entering from Pakistan to Indian territory in the area near Village – Bhagtana Boharwala in District – Gurdaspur.
As per the laid down drill troops endeavored to intercept the drone by firing.
(SUBHEAD)During initial search of the area, BSF troops recovered one packet containing five Pistols (Made in Austria ), 10 Magazines, 71 Rounds (9 mm) and 20 rounds (.311) from the farming field of Village – Bhagtana Boharwala, Distt – Gurdaspur.
BSF spokesman in Jalandhar Punjab BSF frontier headquarter said, vigilant troops of BSF, once again foiled nefarious design of Anti –national elements to smuggle arms / ammunition.
