BSF ORGANISED MEDICAL CHECK UP CAMP AND PROVIDED FREE MEDICINES UNDER CIVIC ACTION PROGRAMME

Medical Camp under Civic Action Programme for the year 2022-23 was organised in Govt Primary School, Sowana by 55 BN BSF in AOR of BOP Sowana on Friday.

(MOREPIC1)  Residents of bordering villages were diagnosed & medicated by the BSF & civil doctors during the event. Dr Astha Bedi, AC (MO) alongwith Dr Suresh Kumar, MD(Medecine) CIVIL Hospital Abohar, Dr Dharamvir Arora, MO, Civil Hospital Abohar, Dr Sajan & Dr Deep Sharma, Ashirwad Hospital, Fazilka provided their medical services to the remotely located & deprived bordering population.

Total 270 bordering population were consulted by the team of doctors. The population were provided with necessary medicines as prescribed by the doctors amounting Rs. 94,795/-.(SUBHEAD)

In addition to this, Ashirwad Hospital, Fazilka in collaboration with Apex Hospital, Jaipur organised a workshop on CPR training to the BSF personnel in which 35 BSF personnel were given practical training on CPR.

The programme was graced by Sh K N Tripathi, comdt 55 BN BSF alongwith Sh. Vikash Sundriyal, 2IC & 04 Officers 15 SO's and 45 Or's. Sh K N Tripathi, comdt addressed to the local population and advised them to take a helthy lifestyle & if felling sick, they may approach to the nearest BSF BOP.

The local population were urged to educate the young generation to refrain from illegal activities especially drug abuse & trafficking and motivated to be a responsible citizen and be part of nation building.
