In a major breakthrough, PO & Summon staff of Chandigarh Police under the directions of Ms. Kanwardeep Kaur, SSP, U.T., Chandigarh and Sh. Mridul, SP City in the supervision of Sh. Davinder Sharma, Dy.SP DCC and team headed by Sh. Hari Om Sharma, Inspector/Incharge PO & Summon staff is able to arrest 02 absconders proclaimed offender.
Arrest of Accused/Proclaimed Offender: – With the help of collection of information from different sources (technical & human) and a day/night search. The following mentioned proclaimed offender have been arrested with secret information of informer and all the sincere efforts made by ASI Balwinder Singh 1728/CP, HC Ashok Kumar 1179/CP, Sr. C. Vipin Sharma 2345/CP C. Amit Antil 4863/CP, C. Harish kumar 4208/CP, Umesh Kumar 3850/CP. The Master Technical & Monitoring Cell of Chandigarh Police provided continuous assistance to locate the accused and helped the police officials of PO & Summon Staff to apprehend them.(SUBHEAD)
One state case proclaimed offender namely Sonu @ Khalnayak S/o Raghbir R/o 1226, Rajiv Colony, Sector-17, Panchkula, Haryana, age 30 years has been arrested from near Gurudwara, Maulijagran, Chandigarh, in case FIR No. 124 dated 21.10.2021, U/s 324,307,326, 34 IPC ,PS- Mauli Jagran, Chandigarh. The accused is a hard core criminal. The following mention six cases were also registered against him in Chandigarh: Case FIR No. 263 dated 28/04/2008, U/s 448,457,506,34 IPC PS-17, Chandigarh, Case FIR No. 16 dated 21/01/2002 U/s 376, 392, 341, 506, 34 IPC PS-Manimajra, Chandigarh., Case FIR No. 117 dated 18/04/2005, U/s 379,411 IPC PS- Manimajra, Chandigarh., Case FIR No. 09 dated 13/01/2009 U/s 325,34,506 IPC PS- Manimajra, Chandigarh., . Case FIR No. 280 dated 13/01/2009, U/s 147,149,323,506,332,353,427,308 IPC, PS- Manimajra, Chandigarh, Case FIR No. 161 dated 30.05.2011, U/s 394, 34 IPC, PS Manimajra, Chandigarh
He is also a wanted accused in case FIR No. 14 dated 16.08.2022 , U/s 148, 149, 302 IPC and 25/54/59 Arms Act registered against him at PS-Sector-14, Panchkula. The case was registered on the complaint of Sunny @ Sony R/o Rajiv Colony Sector-17, Panchkula, Haryana, who reported that his younger brother namely Rajesh @ Kaku was attacked by 5-6 boys residing neighbors to him. Later the case was registered against accused.
The accused was declared PO by the Hon'ble court of Sh. Rajiv K Berri, ADJ, UT, Chandigarh vide order dated 27.02.2023 in case FIR No. FIR No. 124 dated 21.10.2021, U/s 324,307,326, 34 IPC ,PS- Mauli Jagran, Chandigarh. The accused PO produced before the Hon’ble Court
Another state case proclaimed offender namely Rohit Singh S/o Vijay Pal Singh R/o # 125, Village Khuda Alisher, Chandigarh and # 2761, DMC, Chandigarh has been arrested from Sector-26, Chandigarh, in case FIR No. 28 dated 01.03.2028 , U/s 380, 411 IPC, PS- 03, Chandigarh. The case was registered on the complaint of HC Harbans Singh No. 1436 who reported he was deputed as caretaker in Store situated at 7th floor of Punjab Police Headquarter and on 01.03.2018 he found his laptop missing from the store room. Later the case was registered against accused. He was declared PO by the Hon'ble court of Sh. Karanveer Singh, JMIC vide order dated 28.02.2023. The accused PO produced before the Hon’ble Court.
