In another breakthrough Crime Branch of Chandigarh Police under the supervision of Inspector Satvinder Singh under the close guidance of Senior Officer got the major success by arresting two vehicle lifters and recovered two Bullet Motor Cycles.
(MOREPIC1) The accused identified as Ravinder @ Sonu S/o Sh. Rajbir Singh r/o # 629, Shivalik Vihar, Patiala road, Zirakpur. Punjab. Aged 28 years. and Sunny Sachdeva S/o Sh. Surinder Sachdeva r/o # 812, Vill. Dhakoli, Zirakpur, Mohali. Aged 28 years.
Police said on 4.5.2023 a secret information was received that one namely Ravinder @ Sonu is using a stolen bullet motor cycle and roaming in the area of Burail, Sector 45, Chandigarh to sale the same.
Acting upon this information the team of Crime Branch reached near C/D Turn, Sector 45, Chandigarh, where he was apprehended alongwith motor cycle on the identification of informer and accordingly arrested in E-FIR No. 574 dated 27.9.2022 U/S 379,411 IPC PS-49, Chandigarh.
On the other hand, acting upon the secret information naka was laid down near bridge, sector 11/15, Chandigarh and Sunny Sachdeva alongwith the stolen bullet motor cycle involved E-FIR No. 403 dated 9.8.2022 U/S 379,411 IPC PS-34, Chandigarh was arrested. Both are drug addict and to fulfil the need of drug, they started to commit theft. Both were produced in the court and sent to judicial custody for 14 days. Investigation is still in progress.
