A major accident was averted on Saturday near the Chandigarh-Ambala highway in Zirakpur as bus of Haryana Roadways suddenly overturned to save Activa Rider. Many passengers were present in the bus at the time of the accident. Thankfully, no vehicle was seriously damaged. All passengers were safe in the accident and receive minor injuries. There was a traffic jam at the spot. The Police reached the spot and restore the traffic.
It is alleged that accident took place when an activa rider coming from wrong side, and to save activa rider the Bus collided with the divider and overturned on the road. The bus was going from Chandigarh to Ambala. After the accident there was chaos and in hue and cry passengers jumped out of the bus windows in panic. Seeing the accident, people nearby also reached the spot immediately. The Bus was badly damaged.
