In a major breakthrough, under the guidance of Sh. Ketan Bansal, IPS, SP Crime and under the directions of Sh. Udaypal Singh, DSP Crime, the team of Crime Branch under the supervision of Insp. SatvinderSingh, succeeded in arresting twoburglars who were involved in burglary of cash Rs. 20 lac and about 15tola (150 Grams) gold in Kishangarh (Chandigarh).
On 4.5.2023 a case FIR No. 33 dated 22.5.2023 U/S 380,454,411 IPC PS-ITP, U.T., Chandigarh was registered on the complaint of Ms. Suman S/o Late Sh. Jagir Singh R/o # 64A, Vill. Kishangarh, U.T, Chandigarh, regarding the theft of gold ornaments and Cash Rs. 20 lakh from her house when the entire family was out of station.
(SUBHEAD)A special team was constituted, who collected the human intelligence from the locality and apprehended Raju Singh @ Juddi and Alok Kumar from a place near Lake Dhanason secretinformation and one gold chain was recovered from Raju Singh @ Juddi and one gold bracelet was recovered from Alok Kumar on the spot and the ornaments were duly identified by the complainant. Accordingly they were arrested in the present case,FIR No. 33 dated 22.5.2023 U/S 380,454,411 IPC PS-ITP, U.T, Chandigarh.
KNOW THE ACCUSED: Raju Singh @ Juddi (24) S/o Hari Singh, Present Address House No. 372, Kachi Colony, Dhanas, UT, Chandigarh, studied upto 8th and working as Labourer.. The other accused Alok Kumar (25) S/o Sushil Sharma, Jhuggi No. 678, Kachi Colony, Dhanas, Chandigarh, is a graduate and by profession cook.
Police remand of both the accused was obtained and during remand the stolen gold ornaments approximately 15 tola and cash Rs. 19 lacs was recovered on their instance.
RECOVERY: Two Gold Necklace, Three Gents Rings, . One Pair Ear rings (Jhumke), Three Ear Ring (One pair & One single), Two lady Rings, One locket, One Gold chain, One gents bracelet, Silver anklet, Cash Rs. 19 lacs.
PREVIOUS RECORD OF ACCUSED: Both accused are drug addicts and has tainted past and arrested previously as acxcused lok Kumar arrested in robbery case in FIR No. 68 dated 27.03.2019 u/s 392, 34 IPC PS-ITP, Chandigarh and ccused Raju Singh @ Judi arrested in case FIR No. 78 dated 08.06.2019 u/s 376, 506 IPC & 4 POCSO Act, PS-ITP, Chandigarh.
