The National Legislators Conference (NLC India) got off to a colourful start in Mumbai. MLA Sandeep Jakhar, who is participating in the event, informed that it is happening for the first time in the history of the country that Speakers and MLAs of many states are holding a joint conference.

About 4000 MLAs from all the states have gathered under one roof in this three-day meet, they will discuss various issues related to the country which will prove to be very beneficial for the young generation.(SUBHEAD)

Jakhar said that on what issues the elected representatives of the whole nation think, how they became MLAs, how the issues related to the country can be redressed, there is a need for such an event, now this forum has been started. It is and it should keep moving forward. Even if we belong to different political parties, our ideologies may be different, but the goal is the same, democracy should stay strong & vibrant & India should prosper.
