MOTOR CYCLE RALLY HELD TO MARK THE 'INTERNATIONAL DAY AGAINSTDRUG ABUSE

A Motor Cycle Rally was organised to mark the 'International Day againstDrug Abuse and illicit Trafficking' by the team of Narcotics Control Bureau, Chandigarh in association with Chandigarh Police under the theme 'Nashe Se Azadi' on Sunday.

(MOREPIC1) The rallys tarted at 7.30 AM from Sukhna Lake to NCB Office Sector 66, Mohali PBcoveredthedifferent areas of the City. In this rally, about 60-70 motor cycle riders have participated. The Chief Guest ofthe event was Sh Anup Gupta, Mayor Chandigarh and Guest of Honour was Sh. ParaveerRanjan, W/DGP/UT, Chandigarh.

Sh. Deepak Purohit, DIG, UT, Ms Mahisha Chaudhary, SSP Traffic & Security, Ms Kanwardeep Kaur, SSP/UT, Sh Ketan Bansal, SP/HqrsandShMohinderjit Singh AD, NCB were also present during this program. The rally was organized to create awareness among the youngsters on thegrowingmenace of drug-addiction. The messags and appeals against illicit drug traffickingweremade among the general public urging to make a drug free society.
