United States (US) Ambassador to India, Mr. Eric Garcetti, today called on Speaker of the Punjab Legislative Assembly Mr. Kultar Singh Sandhwan. Meanwhile, both the leaders emphasized on strengthening mutual cooperation between India and America.
During the meeting at the Punjab Vidhan Sabha, Mr. Sandhwan emphasized on strengthening the cooperation between India and the US in agriculture, industry, technology and other fields. The PVS Speaker said that both the countries can benefit from mutual exchange of knowledge and technology in various fields.
S. Sandhwan also asked Mr. Eric Garcetti to encourgae US companies to invest in Punjab as the state offers invest friendly environment.
Mr. Eric Garcetti discussed about US-India's historical relations and recalled the historical relations between the two countries. He also appreciated the hardworking spirit of Punjabis. Mr. Eric Garcetti said that the United States of America has been continuously promoting strong bilateral cooperation with India, which will further strengthen the relationship between the two countries.
