Regenerative Gynaecology is based on the repair or regeneration of tissues to restore the sexual health of women. Studies (International journal on informatics for development, dec, 2022) have shown that around 50% of the women suffer from vaginal discharge at least once in their lifetime, besides cases of urinary tract infection (UTI), stress incontinence, leakage of urine etc. largely go unreported.

Stating that women shied away from discussing issues regarding their vaginal health, Dr Sharma, added, “Women are hesitant due to social taboos surrounding such topics. Symptoms such as vaginal laxity, urine leakage (SUI), reduced sensitivity and lack of orgasm, dryness and pain during sex, anal area laxity with loss of tissue volume and aesthetic appearance of the feminine area can be treated through the modern procedures.”
On Regenerative Gynaecology, Dr Sharma, added, “This aims to induce tissue regeneration (vaginal rejuvenation) by using non-invasive/non-surgical procedures like PRP injections, laser or radiofrequency, hyaluronic acid fillers, botulinum injections, collagen fillers to treat gynaecological dysfunctions and disorders.”
