52nd Raising Day of Kharga Corps was celebrated solemnly with wreath laying ceremony at "Vijay Smarak War Memorial, Ambala Cantonment. Lieutenant General Rahul R Singh, General Officer Commanding, Kharga Corps, on behalf of all ranks of the Corps, paid homage in remembrance of the ultimate sacrifice for the motherland by the brave heroes of the Corps. The General conveyed his felicitations and best wishes to all ranks, veterans, civil employees and families of Kharga Corps on the occasion.

The Corps was instrumental in defeating the Pakistan Army and liberation of Bangladesh, living upto its emblem "Kharga of Maa Kali ", the ultimate weapon symbolising destruction of enemy in battlefield. Kharga Corps "Imposers of National Will" is a battle hardened outfit with significant contribution in various military operations of Indian Army apart from Human Assistance and Disaster Relief operations carried out as part of 'Aid to Civil Authority' during natural calamities.
