In a testament to the progressive spirit of India's real estate industry, the Confederation of Indian Industry-Northern Region (CII-NR) and the Indian Green Building Council (IGBC) proudly unveiled their highly-anticipated collaboration in the form of 'RealEstate360.' This flagship event, held at the CII Northern Region Headquarters in Chandigarh, served as a dynamic platform that aimed to reshape the landscape of real estate by fostering innovation, encouraging investment, and inspiring sustainable growth. 

'RealEstate360' delved deep into emerging trends, sustainable practices, and innovative technologies driving the transformation of the real estate industry in the Tricity region. Attendees had the opportunity to explore concepts that would undoubtedly shape the future of the real estate market in this vibrant region. 

Dr Amarpal Singh, Chief Executive Officer, Punjab Energy Development Authority (PEDA) was the Guest of Honour. 

The theme of 'RealEstate360' for this year, 'Innovate, Invest, Inspire,' perfectly encapsulated the mission of the CII and IGBC. It underscored their unwavering commitment to not only adapting to change but also driving it within the real estate sector. The goal was to create a space for industry leaders, experts, and stakeholders to come together and exchange ideas that could bring about meaningful transformation. 

The conference featured a diverse lineup of distinguished speakers, thought leaders, and experts who shared their insights and experiences, providing attendees with valuable knowledge and opportunities to connect and collaborate. 'RealEstate360' explored emerging trends, sustainable practices, and innovative technologies that were driving the transformation of the real estate industry, ultimately shaping the future of the Tricity region's real estate market.

“Tier 2 and 3 cities in India, exemplified by Chandigarh and the Tricity, are emerging as the epicentre of real estate growth. Fueled by urbanization, rising incomes, and improved infrastructure, these cities offer affordability, a superior lifestyle, and proximity to key job centres. The future holds promise for these cities, as they reshape the landscape of India's real estate market,” remarked Mr Ashwinder R Singh, Co-Chairman, CII NR Committee on Real Estate & CEO- Residential, Bhartiya Urban 

Col Shailesh Pathak, Chairman, IGBC Chandigarh Chapter emphasized the remarkable growth of green building projects in Punjab and Haryana. He stated, “Punjab & Haryana are the fastest growing states in terms of green building projects. The acceptance among the developers to adopt sustainable design, construction and certification has been widespread. The support from the state government has been exemplary. The state has more than 760+ green building projects covering over 424 million sq ft of green footprint.”
