CHANDIGARH, December 8:
The State Election Commission has issued election schedule and Notification vide which the bye election to the post of Sarpanch (woman), village Bhamme Kalan, District Mansa, has been announced.
The desirous candidates can file their nominations upto 13.12.2023, in the office of the Returning Officer and the poll will be held on 24.12.2023 (Sunday). The result will be declared on the same day.
All voters entered in the electoral roll are eligible to participate in the election. The Commission has made all the necessary arrangements for this election.
The Model Code of Conduct within the revenue jurisdiction of said Gram Panchayat has come into force with immediate effect.
