Giving immediate relief to residents, who had suffered due to the state government ministerial staff’s strike, the district administration organised a special Suvidha Camp at the SDM office here.
In some cases, outstanding inteqal (transfer of property) were done on the spot and people got a copy. Similarly, those who had applied in the camp in the morning for work related to the Suvidha Center were given different types of certificates on the spot.
Deputy Commissioner Dr Senu Duggal said that such camps being organized by the district administration in villages and cities will prove to be a great convenience for the people. She said that in the camp all the departments set up their counters and people's work was done on the spot. In today's camp, certificates were made to many people on the spot, while work related to the revenue department was also done hand in hand.
The DC instructed the officials that the people coming to the government offices should be diligently given the benefit of the government services. “We have to continuously work for the betterment of the people”, she added.
ADC (G) cum SDM Ravinder Singh Arora said that hundreds of people benefited in the camp and such camps will continue to be held.
