POLICE CRACKS ROBBERY CASE WITHIN 24 HOURS, ARREST ONE OF THE ACCUSED

Acting swiftly, the police have cracked a robbery case within twenty four hours of its occurrence and have arrested one member of the gang.

While giving details Vivek Sheel Soni, SSP said that the accused identified as Vishal alias Bhola, a resident of city area along with his two unidentified accomplices, robbed Rs. 25000/- from one of the shops situated near Bansi Gate in the city area on Wednesday night from the shopkeeper Prikshit Jaiswal.

The SSP said special teams were constituted under SP (D) Randhir Kumar and raids were conducted to nab the accused during which the police nabbed Vishal and recovered an amount of Rs 8550/- from him along with a pistol, two live rounds and a bike.

“The police will soon nab the other accused and the amount shall also be recovered. Nobody will be allowed to take law into their hands”, said Soni.

Meanwhile, the police registered an FIR against the accused under sections 392, 506 besides 25,54,59 of Arms Act at city police station (FIR No. 4 dated 04.01.24).
