Under the ongoing Rs 210 crore renovation work at Abohar railway station, a new parking slot for two-wheelers was inaugurated by Station Superintendent D.N. Goyal on Monday. Laddus were distributed on this occasion.
Railway Police Station incharge Didar Singh, ASI Bhajan Lal, ASI Jaswant Singh, ASI Kulwant Singh, contractors Surinder Bishnoi, Prithviraj Bishnoi and others were present on the occasion. Goyal said that a big parking slot for cars is also being constructed which will start soon.
The renovation is being done under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme that was launched in February 2023 by Ministry of Railways to redevelop 1275 stations nationwide.
