MP ARORA LAYS FOUNDATION OF COW BREEDING INSTITUTE

With the blessings of Shri Shri 108 Shri Mahant Rameshwar Das Tyagi Ji Maharaj the foundation laying ceremony of Cow Breeding and Research Institute was held at Village Sarabha, near here, on Tuesday.

The event was organised by Shri Ramanandi Maa Sharda Vidyapeeth Gurukula and Cow Breeding and Research Institute. MP (Rajya Sabha) Sanjeev Arora was the chief guest on the occasion. In his address, he highly appreciated Noble Foundation, an NGO and its founder Rajinder Sharma for taking an initiative to set up the Institute. He hoped that the project will become a source of inspiration for others after its completion.

Arora announced a grant of Rs.25 lakh for the project. He also lauded Ludhiana industrialists for extending all kind of support in launching the project. The Institute is being set up in 21 acres of land. It will be a unique institution in the entire region. He said he has been apprised that Noble Foundation is running various schools where around 17,500 children are getting primary education. He announced that he is always ready to extend every kind of help to the NGO for successful implementation of the project.(SUBHEAD)

Speaking on the occasion, Binay Kumar Jha, Chief Commissioner, Income Tax (Retd) spoke in detail about the project. He thanked Arora and other philanthropists for extending financial help for the project. He also appreciated Arora for his efforts towards nation building. He said Arora being an MP has been doing tremendous work besides doing a lot of social work. He said it is also a matter of pride that Arora is running an NGO for helping cancer patients.

Rajinder Sharma spoke about various achievements of the Noble Foundation. He said all these achievements have been made possible only because of donations made with open heartedly by city industrialists. Shri Shri 108 Shri Mahant Rameshwar Das Tyagi Ji Maharaj spoke about history of the village and the temple having an idol which is supposed to be 800 years old where the event was held before the foundation laying ceremony of the Institute.

Many social workers, prominent villagers and NGO’s workers, supporters and philanthropists, including Hemant Sood (Findoc), KNS Kang, Neena Gupta, Priyanka Mehtani, Vijay Mehtani, Raj Kumar Jetwani, Mahesh Mittal, Avinash Gupta, Umesh Munjal, Rajneesh Ahuja, Jagdish Singh Boparai and Archana Sharma were present and honoured.

The organisers also honoured Arora with a memento and shawl.
