Rising above political considerations, residents in Panjkosi village assembled at the complex that houses Shri Krishan Mandir, Shri Ram Mandir and Shri Shanker Mandir to carry out the activities related to the “Pran Pratishtha” of Ram Lalla idol in Ayodhya.
MLA Sandeep Jakhar was on Monday found helping the volunteers in preparing and later serving “Prasad” on the occasion. The complex had been founded by his great grandparents with the help of other residents long before independence. He also responded well to the call to lighten Diya at his residence in the evening and said,”After lighting the Diya, the hard part…. following the teachings of Bhagwan Ram & his footsteps.”
The legislator on the same day visited some places in Abohar city to join the celebrations during which he led a procession and served prasad at a stall in the heart of the city.
