CASE REGISTERED AGAINST CAR DRIVER HITTING JOURNALIST

City police-1 has registered a case against the car driver who allegedly hit the bike of Punjab Kesari correspondent Pradeep Nagpal Friday evening.

The post-mortem of Pradeep Nagpal's body was conducted at the Civil Hospital today. The police handed over the body to the family members. The last rites were performed at Nanaksar Shivpuri today afternoon. Apart from the journalist fraternity, officials of social, political and religious organisations, distinguished citizens expressed their condolences on the demise of Pradeep Nagpal.

On the statement of Rajinder Nagpal, the police registered a case under Sections 304-A, 427, 279 of the IPC against the car driver who allegedly hit the bike of his brother Pradeep Nagpal.

In the FIR, Vishnu Delu, son of Khet Pal, resident of village Khairpur, presently living in Riddhi Siddhi Colony, Sriganganagar has been identified as the erring driver.
