BLOOD DONATION CAMP CONVEYS THE MESSAGE OF VOTING IN THE LS ELECTIONS

On the World Red Cross Day, a blood donation camp was organized with the message of encouraging people to vote in the Lok Sabha elections. The camp was organized by the District Administration and the Education Department with the support of the Health Department. On the occasion, Election Expenses Observer Nagender Yadav, Deputy Commissioner Dr. Senu Duggal, SSP Dr. Pragya Jain and ADC (G) Rakesh Kumar Popli encouraged the youth.

Election Observer Yadav said that this initiative is commendable where along with social service, the youth is also being motivated to vote. He also visited the exhibition organized under the sweep project.

Highlighting the importance of blood donation, the DC said that donating blood is the greatest service to humanity, because blood donation can save many precious lives.

SSP Dr. Pragya Jain and ADC (G) Rakesh Kumar Popli praised the youth donating blood and said that they have come forward in this work of social welfare. In any emergency situation, the blood you donate can prove to be a boon to someone's life.

Secretary Red Cross Society, Pradeep Kumar Gakhar and District Education Officer Shivpal Goyal said that on the occasion of World Red Cross Day, awareness was also spread by holding awareness rallies and plays in the schools of the district.

BTO Dr. Sukhmani made people aware about thalassemia disease on the occasion of today's World Red Cross Day and Thalassemia Day.
