A massive protest against the candidate of Shiromani Akali Dal by the Sanyukt Kisan Morcha (SKM) in Jalalabad on Saturday has hot up the Ferozepur constituency campaign.
The organizations under the banner of SKM organized a protest against the SAD candidate, Nardev Singh Bobby Mann, in Jalalabad West alleging non-refund of Basmati amount to the farmers. SKM warned that the struggle will continue until the commission agent and farmers are given justice.

They said that as a result of the anger, a strong protest was held by the Kirti Kisan Union last year in Jalalabad. Its owner, SAD leader Nardev Singh Mann, had assured to resolve the issue amicably with farmers in the coming days but so far nothing has been done.
Nardev Singh Bobby Mann had in the past refuted the allegations vehemently.
