The birth anniversary of Shri Arut Ji Maharaj, the founder of Arorvansh Samaj, was celebrated today by garlanding the statue at the memorial built on the bus stand road.
MLA Sandeep Jakhar, Mayor Vimal Thatai, Chanan Mal Ahuja Trust Dharamshala president Vipan Nagpal, local president of All India Arora Khatri Punjabi Community Naresh Khurana, Raghav Nagpal, Harinder Bedi, Praveen Chawla, Kamal Khurana and others garlanded the statue. Langar was also organized near the memorial site.
Jakhar said that the birth anniversary of Arut Ji Maharaj inspires us for spirituality, knowledge and service. His teachings lead us to follow the path of truth and serve humanity. Let us all resolve to adopt his ideals and spread love, peace and goodwill in the society. He said that the Arorvanshi community have created their special identity not only in Western and Eastern Punjab but also in other states of India and abroad. If we all actively support the steps taken for social welfare, then the society will definitely prosper.
