The DC and SSP said that all arrangements have been made for security in view of the elections in the district and security forces are closely monitoring. They appealed to the people to reach the polling booth to exercise their right to vote without any fear or greed. Adequate security arrangements have been made at all the polling booths. The SSP warned that anyone who tries to create mischief during the polling will be dealt with strictly according to law.

Earlier the DC and SSP visited the DAV College Campus in Abohar where Abohar Assistant Returning Officer Pankaj Bansal and Balluana ARO Amarinder Singh Malhi gave necessary directions to the polling parties.
