Deputy Commissioner-cum-District Election Officer Dr. Senu Duggal visited Abohar today and reviewed the arrangements for the counting of Abohar and Balluana assembly constituencies at DAV College campus.
The DC said that all the preparations for the counting of votes in the Lok Sabha elections have been completed. She said that 14-14 tables have been installed for each constituency. She also reviewed the security of the strong room here and said that the EVM machines have been kept under the surveillance of CCTV cameras in three-layer security enclosures. Additional Deputy Commissioner (Gen) Rakesh Kumar Popli, Additional Deputy Commissioner (Dev) Amarinder Singh Malhi and SDM Pankaj Bansal were also present on the occasion.
