“GIVE WINGS TO AMBITIOUS GIRLS” GETS POSITIVE JOURNALISM AWARD

In the 'Positive Journalism Award' started by Tantia Group, the story “Give Wings to Ambitious girls” contributed by senior journalist Raj Sadosh of Abohar on talented girls from poor families was selected.

In this story it was told how these girls studied in adverse circumstances and achieved high positions by scoring good marks in the PSEB exams. Fazilka DC Dr. Senu Duggal, SSP Dr. Pragya Jain and District and Sessions Judge Jatinder Kaur awarded them last month.

(SUBHEAD)At the Symposium and felicitation ceremony on the “World Day Against Child Labour”, Raj Sadosh was honored by – Chairman of Child Welfare Committee Joginder Kaushik, Assistant Director of Child Empowerment Department Rajeev Jakhar, Acting Deputy Labor Commissioner Manoj Kumar, Child Welfare Committee member Dr. Ram Prakash Sharma and Vice President of Sriganganagar Panchayat Samiti, Brijmohan Yadav by presenting a shawl, Rajasthani turban, Rob of Honor, coconut, memento and Rs 5,100 in cash.

On the occasion, Sadosh said that in today's time when every sector is being commercialized, there is a great need for positive reporting by scribes.
