DAV College, Abohar has been ranked among the best private colleges of North India in the survey of India Today- MDRA 2024.
Principal Dr. Rajesh Kumar Mahajan said that governance, academic quality, infrastructure and environment, personality and leadership development, career prospects and placement etc. are among the many milestones and qualifications with which the college achieved this feat. This is a matter of pride for the entire Abohar also.
(SUBHEAD) The college secured 61st position in BCA course and 2nd position in PU among the best selected colleges of India. Ranked 79th in B. Com course, 1st among colleges of Punjab affiliated to Panjab University, Chandigarh, 85th in Arts course, 1st in PU, 94th in Science course, 1st in PU, 101st in BBA course, 2nd in PU.
The College was earlier ranked 46th among the best colleges in the country in the survey of Education World-2021-22. It was also ranked among the 100 best colleges of the country in India Today's 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023 Outlook India survey. Along with this, the college has also received the status of Star College under the Star College Scheme of the Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India and the title of Community College from the University Grants Commission.
