A poetry book ‘Venu Man Ki’, written by Alka Satija, Head of the Hindi, Sanskrit Department of LRS DAV Senior Secondary Model School, was released by Dev Mittar Ahuja, Vice President of DAV College Managing Committee and Chairman of the School. He blessed and congratulated Alka on her literary achievement. School ARO Sarita Ranjan Gautam participated online and gave her blessings.
Alka said that this is her second book. The collection is that corner of her mind in which a river of emotions keeps flowing silently. These poems are a part of the same river. The aim of her poetry is to inspire patriotic feelings as well as to shun disappointment. It is also her aim to call for saving moral values and culture. The book has 53 poems.
Principal Smita Sharma honored Alka Satija and extended her best wishes. Dalip Mathur enthralled with melodious singing. Three teachers, Sarju Miglani, Anita Gilhotra and Harpreet Kaur were honored to have completed the best 25 years of their service. Former teachers Saraswati Rinwa, Sunita Sehgal, Ravinder Kumar, Rajesh Setia also graced the program. The new teacher group of the school won everyone's hearts with a dance. The stage was conducted by Vineet Khungar.
