AAP SPOKESPERSON NEEL GARG ASSURES SIT INVESTIGATION WILL CONTINUE INDEPENDENTLY AND ALL CULPRITS WILL BE PUNISHED

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has raised concerns about the Enforcement Directorate’s (ED) involvement in the drug case related to Shiromani Akali Dal (Badal) leader Bikram Majithia. Senior AAP Punjab spokesperson Neel Garg alleged that the ED’s investigation is aimed at giving Majithia a clean chit due to his close ties with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the BJP.

Garg asserted that while Majithia may expect relief from the ED, the state government's Special Investigation Team (SIT) will continue its investigation independently. The SIT is committed to uncovering the truth and ensuring that all culprits are punished. The final challan will be presented as soon as the investigation concludes.

(SUBHEAD)Garg emphasized that gangsters, mafia, drug smugglers, and corrupt individuals are enemies of Punjab, and the AAP government is dedicated to taking equal action against all such figures. He denied any allegations of vendetta politics, affirming that the government is focused on addressing wrongdoing and will persist in its efforts.

“The Aam Aadmi Party government is committed to making Punjab drug-free. Anyone responsible for the drug crisis in Punjab will face strict punishment”, said the AAP leader.
