RAJASTHAN STATE EX-SERVICES LEAGUE CELEBRATES GOLDEN JUBILEE

Rajasthan State Ex Services League (RSESL) celebrated the Golden Jubilee of its foundation at 'Utsav' in Jaipur Military Station on Monday. 

Prem Singh Bajor, Chairman of Sainik Welfare Board Rajasthan, graced the event as the Chief Guest. Other dignitaries present at the event included General Officer Commanding 61 Sub Area Major General RS Godara and MG-ic-Adm Sapta Shakti Command Major General Satbir Singh. A large number of Gaurav Senani attended the Jubilee celebrations. 

The function started with traditional lighting of the lamp followed by greetings and welcome address by the President of the League, Lieutenant General SPS Katewa. 

(SUBHEAD)Colonel NS Janu, while narrating the history of the League, said that RSESL was formed on 16 September 1974 as a non-political organization under the chairmanship of Maj Gen K Bhagwati Singh, with an objective to solve the problems of re-employment, pension reforms of retired soldiers, family pensioners and their families. At present, it has about 41000 members. 

Major General RS Godara and Major General Satbir Singh also spoke about the work done for the welfare of Gaurav Senani and assured full cooperation always. Chief Guest Shri Prem Singh Bajor, Chairman Sainik Welfare Board praised the invaluable contribution of soldiers in the defence of the country and reiterated his commitment to be ever ready for their welfare.

Gaurav Senanis were also honoured by presenting them with mementoes. In the end, Brigadier Kartar Singh, (Retd) of the League expressed his gratitude to all.
