YOUTH SHOULD CHOOSE MEDICAL FIELD FOR SERVICE, NOT FOR EARNING MONEY: BEDHAM

Rajasthan Minister of State for Home, Animal Husbandry, Dairy and Fisheries Department, Jawahar Singh Bedham said that the youth in the medical profession should come with a spirit of service and not with the aim of earning money.

He was addressing the students of Tantia Medical College Sriganganagar after visiting the Jan Seva Hospital located. He said, “your and our work is the same. We are created to serve. Similarly, the doctor can also be woken up at any time.”

Vice Chairman of Tantia University, Dr. Mohit Tantia said that Rising and Shining Rajasthan is being created under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma. The public is benefiting from the good works of the government. Bedham ji's ministry is doing even better work.

Describing Jan Seva Hospital as an example of service, the Minister said that he has found people here serving with more dedication than he had heard. He said that you will find very few examples of this kind of service in the entire country. He said that serving parents is the greatest pilgrimage. India was the first to give this message to the world. Bedham was felicitated on this occasion.

Bedham and others offered flowers to the statue of Dr. Shyam Sunder Tantia and also paid him a floral tribute.

He also met the elders of Shakuntala Sadan Government Old Age Home who had come here for treatment and inquired about the facilities being provided to them.
