Haryana Government has declared gazetted holiday on 31 October on the occasion of Diwali. According to the notification issued by the Chief Secretary, now instead of 01 November, on 31 October, Thursday, There will be gazetted holiday in all the departments/boards/corporations/educational and other institutions of the state on the festival of Diwali.
According to the notification, gazetted holiday of Diwali on 31 October will also be under Section 25 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, 188
