Under the inspiration of Mahant Swami Ji Maharaj, the present spiritual head of BAPS Swaminarayan Sanstha, 34 well-educated youth have given up material pleasures and adopted the path of world transformation.
Among the hundreds of youth who have followed this path in the last few years, many had higher academic degrees abroad, while some are the only children of their parents.
(SUBHEAD)At the Parshadi Diksha Mahotsav in Gondal, 34 youth received Parshadi Diksha from Mahant Swami Ji Maharaj. The pre-Diksha rituals were performed by learned Swamis of the organisation.
Pujya Tyagvallabh Swami and Pujya Ghanshyam Charan Swami participated in completing the initiation ceremony while Narayanmuni Swami conducted the stage.
Addressing thousands of devotees, Pujya Viveksagar Swami, Pujya Anandswarup Swami and Pujya Bhaktipriya Swami said that through the temples and Akshardhams established by BAPS in different countries, people were being encouraged to lead a positive life and connect with spirituality.
Mahant Swami Ji Maharaj said that there is a need to make concrete efforts at all levels to clean the murky atmosphere full of violence, malice and religious hatred in the entire world.
