ARMY COMMANDER INAUGURATES STATE-OF-THE-ART MEDICAL FACILITY IN COMMAND HOSPITAL

A state-of-the-art Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and Operation Theatre (OT) complex was inaugurated at Command Hospital Chandimandir by Lieutenant General Manoj Kumar Katiyar, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Western Command.
The Army Commander commended the hospital team's tireless efforts and underscored the crucial role of modern medical facilities in supporting the physical and mental well-being of armed forces personnel. He praised the new addition, emphasizing its significance in enhancing the Army's medical readiness and capabilities, ultimately bolstering the health and resilience of those who serve.
The new complex is equipped with the latest advancements in medical technology, ensuring enhanced critical care and surgical precision. The complex features 7 operating suites and a 16-bedded ICU, which have been fully restored, refurbished, and renovated.

The OTs are equipped with modern equipment, including stainless steel and altros cladding, electro-conductive vinyl flooring, and hermetically sealed sensor doors, Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) system with laminar flow and HEPA filters to improve the patient care.
The complex has been designed to cater to the medical needs of soldiers, veterans, and their families, representing a major step forward in Western Command's commitment to providing premier healthcare services. Command Hospital, Chandimandir remains at the forefront of military healthcare, combining advanced technology with compassionate ser-vice to support those who safeguard the nation.
