The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) registered a case against an accused Pointsman, Sogariya, Kota Division, West Central Railway, Kota (Raj); Impersonator candidate; unknown Public Servants and Unknown Pvt. Persons on a reference received from Railway Vigilance, HQ, West Central Railway, Jabalpur (MP). It was alleged that accused Pointsman, Sogariya, Kota Division, West Central Railway, Kota (Raj.), in connivance with dummy candidate & other unknown Railway officials, secured job in Railways by using fraudulent means.
It was also alleged that dummy candidate had appeared in the Railway exam and photographs, fake identities, fingerprints of the dummy candidate were utilized in the selection process of the Railway Recruitment Exam.
Searches are being conducted by CBI at residential premises of both accused at Kota, Karauli and Alwar Districts of Rajasthan. Investigation is continuing.
