CBI BOOKED SI OF CISF, UNKNOWN OTHERS ON ALLEGATIONS OF DEMANDING AND ACCEPTING BRIBE OF RS 10K

CBI has registered a case against a Sub-Inspector of CISF, RTC, Deoli, District Tonk, Rajasthan and Unknown Person on a complaint. It was alleged that accused Sub-Inspector demanded bribe / undue advantage of Rs. 10,000/- from the complainant in lieu of payment of 5 bills amounting to Rs. 86,537/- approx. and threatened to stop the payment of the remaining bills if the bribe amount of Rs. 10,000/- is not given.

It was further alleged that accused by abusing his position as Public Servant, accepted the undue advantage of Rs. 10,000/- in his bank account through his PhonePe number from the complainant for payment of his bills.

Searches are being conducted by CBI at residential and official premises of the accused at Tonk, Rajasthan and Darbhanga, Bihar. Investigation is continuing.
