ESHA JAKHAR ELECTED EXECUTIVE MEMBER OF SURAJMAL MEMORIAL EDUCATION SOCIETY

In the election of 21-member executive committee of Surajmal Memorial Education Society (SMES), New Delhi, Esha Jakhar has won for the fourth consecutive time. 

The Society was established in 1972 and is a non-profit organization dedicated for the spread of quality education at school and college level.

Election officer Tapas Kumar Bhattacharya, former Senior Principal Secretary of Election Commission of India, officially announced the result today after completing the counting that had started at 10:00 am on Monday.

Esha thanked the civil and police administration for completing the election process in a peaceful atmosphere.

(SUBHEAD)Ajay Saharan of Sriganganagar, who was also declared elected, is also in her panel. Eisha got 1850 votes out of about 3000 votes.Punjab State BJP President Sunil Jakhar and Abohar MLA Sandeep Jakhar also cast their votes. Esha is wife of Ajay Vir Jakhar, Chairman, Bharat Krishak Samaj, who had also served as chief of the Punjab State Farmers’ & Farm Workers’ Commission.

She is daughter-in-law of former Punjab cabinet minister Sajjan Kumar Jakhar.

On her election, she expressed gratitude to all the voters and assured that she will continue to work for the improvement of education and social welfare by taking everyone along like before.
