Congress President has constituted a new AICC Department to oversee the Congress Party's Assets and Properties across the country and has appointed Shri Vijay Inder Singla as the AICC In-Charge of the department with immediate effect.
He will also continue as the Joint Treasurer of AICC. An official appointment letter have been issued by K.C. Venugopal, Secretary General of the Party.
Meanwhile Singla said, I am very thankful to the Chairperson of the All India Congress Committee, Smt. Sonia Gandhi , President, Shri Mallikarjun Kharge , Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha Shri Rahul Gandhi and General Secretary Shri K. C. Venugopal for giving me the responsibility of looking after the property of the Congress Party throughout the country and for appointing me as a member of the Central Working Committee (CWC) of the Congress Party.
I assure you that I will work diligently and cooperatively to fulfill both the roles whether it is the new responsibility or my current role as Joint Treasurer, added Mr.Singla.
