MILITARY CIVIL LIAISON CONFERENCE HELD AT HISAR MILITARY STATION

A Military Civil Liaison Conference was held at Hisar Military Station on 02 Apr 2025 with the objective of strengthening the collaboration between Military and civil authorities in addressing key security and administrative challenges. 

The event was organised by the Dot On Target Division of Sapta Shakti Command and was attended by Major General Amit Talwar, GOC, Dot On Target Division, Mr Matta Ravi Kiran, ADGP, Hisar Range, Mr A Sreenivas, Divisional Commissioner of Hisar and other officials from six districts of Haryana. It brought together senior military and civil officials to deliberate on issues affecting common challenges and humanitarian operations.

(SUBHEAD)The conference saw active participation from representatives of local administration, law enforcement agencies and the Indian Army. Discussions focused on promoting effective coordination between Military and civil establishments, fostering mutual understanding and building synergy.

The event featured a series of productive sessions, wherein various agenda points were deliberated, including disaster management, infrastructure development, assistance during emergencies and strategic coordination in times of crisis. The focus of these discussions was to enhance communication and synergy between military and civil agencies, to ensure a unified response during crisis.

In his address, Maj Gen Amit Talwar, GOC, Dot On Target Division highlighted the importance of Military-Civil Fusion as the foundation stone of national security. He emphasised that the fusion of military and civil resources is essential for a nation to project its Comprehensive National Power effectively in both times of peace and conflict. He further noted that going beyond structural integration, an in depth alignment of strategic thinking between the Military and civil sectors is critical in today's time. The Conference at Hisar marked a significant milestone in the ongoing efforts to enhance cooperation and synergy between military and civil establishments.
