THOUSANDS BID A TEARFUL ADIEU TO DADI RATAN MOHINI

The mortal remains of 101-year-old Dadi Ratan Mohini, chief administrator of Brahma Kumaris, were consigned to flames at the Shantivan in Abu Road. About five thousand people bid farewell to Dadi with moist eyes.

Tributes were paid by the Brahma Kumaris Additional Chief Administrator BK Mohini Didi, Joint Chief Administrator BK Munni Didi, BK Santosh Didi, Additional General Secretaries BK Karuna and BK Dr. Mrityunjaya, Dadi's personal secretary BK Leela Didi and other seniors functionaries. Prior to this people chanted Om Shanti Mantra.

(SUBHEAD)On April 8, Dadi breathed her last at a hospital in Ahmedabad. Her body was kept in the conference hall of Shantivan for the last glimpse.

Jalore MP Lumba Ram Chaudhary, while joining in performing rituals, said that Dadi's departure is an unbearable loss to the entire region. She gave a message to millions of people and transformed their lives.

Additional Chief Administrator BK Mohini Didi said that Dadi used to spend her time in meditation instead of playing at a young age. Being smarter in studies, she had patience and a serious nature.

BJP District President Raksha Bhandari, former MLA Jagasi Ram Koli, Vishwa Hindu Parishad state chief Rajaram, senior Congress leader Harish Chaudhary, state chief of Akhil Bhartiya Vidyarthi Parishad, Hira Ram Barad, former Justice V. Ishwariya, Civil Judge from Gwalior Shiv Kant Kushwaha also offered chandal wood to the pyre.
