Journalist Surinder Verma was unanimously elected National Vice President of Indian Federation of Small and Media Newspapers.
A General Body meeting of Indian Federation of Small and Medium Newspapers was held at Jagan Nath Mandir Auditorium Hauj Khas Delhi under the supervision of Chief Election Commissioner of the organization Shiv Prakash K Sanjeev for the year 2025-27.
The representatives from various states filed nominations and the following office bearers , have been elected unanmiously.
Dr. Pabitra Mohan Samantaray: President, Surinder Verma: National Vice President, B S Deshpande: General Secretary, V P Saini-National Treasurer.
The meeting concluded with a 2-minute silence to pay tribute to the victims of the recent Pahalgam incident.
