CBI COURT SENTENCES TWO INCLUDING THEN DIRECTOR OF ITI, BANI PARK AND THEN INSPECTOR OF CISF, BEHROR TO 3 YEARS RI BRIBERY

CBI Court sentences two accused including then Director of ITI (Women’s) College, Bani Park and then Inspector of CISF, Training Center, Behror to 3 years Rigorous Imprisonment with total fine of Rs. 20,000/- in a case of bribery. 

The Hon’ble Court of Special Judge for CBI Cases, Jaipur has sentenced two accused including Sunder Lal Chetiwal, then Director of ITI (Women’s) College, Bani Park and Ran Singh Mann, then Inspector of CISF, Training Center, Behror (Rajasthan) to 3 years’ Rigorous Imprisonment (RI) with total fine of Rs. 20,000/- in case of bribery. 

CBI had registered the instant case on 05.01.2015 against convicted accused. It was alleged that accused Sunder Lal Chetiwal had demanded illegal gratification of Rs. 2,50,000/- from the complainant to get his medical test cleared for the post of Constable (Driver) in the CISF as he claimed to have had good contacts with Senior Officers of CISF. 

CBI had laid a trap and caught accused Sunder Lal Chetiwal, red-handed while demanding and accepting bribe of Rs. 50,000/- from complainant. Thereafter, other accused was also arrested upon finding his involvements in the case. 

After Investigation, chargesheet was filed by CBI on 30.06.2015 against accused persons before the Court of Hon’ble Special Judge for CBI Cases, Jaipur. 

The Court, after trial, found accused guilty and sentenced them accordingly.
