EKTA SHAKTI : INDIAN ARMY THANKS CIVIL ADMINISTRATION AND CITIZENS OF FEROZEPUR DISTRICT FOR THEIR INVALUABLE SUPPORT

The Indian Army organised a special event named “Ekta Shakti” to felicitate and thank the civil administration and citizens of Ferozepur district for their unwavering support and contribution in Nation-building. Senior officers from the Army and civil administration were present during the event.

The event highlighted the synergy amongst the Indian Army, civil administration and other security forces. It emphasized the crucial role which such coordination plays in maintaining peace and stability while underscoring the importance of collective efforts in providing essential services and support, with significant involvement from the district's farmers, citizens and their families.

Speaking on the occasion, Major General RS Manral, Sena Medal, Vishisht Seva Medal, General Officer Commanding 7 Infantry Division, said, “The vital contribution of the civil administration played a key role in helping us address multiple challenges. Their prompt response, deep regional knowledge and swift resource mobilisation were instrumental in our efforts. We are deeply grateful for their continuous support and unwavering commitment.”

Representatives of the civil administration also shared their experience of working in close coordination with the Army and reaffirmed their commitment to future cooperation.

The event served as a platform to further strengthen partnerships among all institutions and enhance collaborative efforts in the future. The Indian Army expressed deep appreciation for the citizens' role in National service and recognised their meaningful contributions.

The Army honoured the citizens for their selfless service. The residents of Ferozepur district expressed pride in being part of the ceremony and warmly appreciated the Army's initiative. All participants pledged to work with dedication and unity, reaffirming their unwavering love and commitment to the Nation.
