THE THIRD EDITION OF THE DEVANSH SHARMA UNDER-16 CRICKET TROPHY UNVEILED

The third edition of the “Devansh Sharma Memorial Under-16 Cricket Tournament Trophy” was unveiled today at the SD High School in Sector 24, Chandigarh. Mr. Hari Singh Khurana, Secretary of the UT Cricket Association, Chandigarh, was the chief guest at the event. He unveiled the trophy along with Mrs Anju Sharma mother of Devansh Sharma, UT Cricket Association Treasurer Mr. Alok Krishan, CEO Mr. Devinder Sharma, Devansh Sharma Cricket Academy Coach Mr. Subhash Sharma, UT Cricket Association Coaches Mr.Rajiv Nayyar and Mr. Deepak Lotia,Mrs.Divya Sharma, Arjun Bhardwaj, Abhishek Lubana , Suresh Gaur, Amit Talwar, Amarjit Kumar, Michael Vishal, Ashwini Garg, and all the players.

UT Cricket Association CEO DevnderSharma stated that all matches of the tournament will be closely monitored by the UTCA selectors. A total of eight teams from the tri-city Chandigarh will participate in this third Under-16 cricket tournament. In the opening match of the day, Devansh Sharma Cricket Academy, Chandigarh, defeated Shine India Cricket Academy, Chandigarh, by 73 runs using the DLF method.

Aarav Sharma was declared Player of the Match. Batting first, Devansh Sharma Academy scored 174 runs for the loss of 2 wickets in 16 overs; in response, Shine India could only manage 52 runs for the loss of 7 wickets. Aarav Sharma took 4 wickets and Sanket took 3 wickets for Devansh Sharma Academy.
