THE TWO-DAY CHANDIGARH UT JUNIOR ROWING CHAMPIONSHIP CONCLUDED AT SUKHNA LAKE

The two-day Chandigarh UT Junior Rowing Championship concluded at Sukhna Lake today amidst the sudden change of scorching heat to pleasant weather.

Pair of Yuvraj and Gurminder claimed the first position in double scull in 2km race clocking a timing of 6:24:58, defeating pair of Ayush and Paryag with a timing of 7:12:83 at second position, and Akshay and Vinay with 7:15:40 at Third and Aryan and Aman with 7:26:38 at Fourth position.

In the Single scull event, Uday clocked 7:38:45, defeating Retash with a timing of 8:41:57 In Junior Women single Scull Taniksha clocked 11:19:76, and Ynshu came second with a timing of 10:44:79 Yakshi and Ayushi cocked 7:23:71 in double scull event

In Junior Coxless four boat with Abhi, Sahil Karan, Mohit clocked 6:22:41 and pair of Balraj and Aditya clocked 8:07:25 in Coxless pair and Sanjana and Janvi clocked 7:37:71 in Coxless pair boat. President CRA Dr Anmol Rattan Sidhu Senior Advocate and former Advocate General of Punjab, gave away the prizes.
