HBSE BHIWANI DECLARED RESULTS OF TENTH CLASS, JIND GIRL SECURED FIRST POSITION

Haryana Board of School Education, Bhiwani today declared the results of Class 10th, conducted by it in March 2018. The overall passing percentage of secondary examination is 51.15 and 66.72 per cent in open school (private candidates). Girls have once again outshone the boys with passing percentage of 55.34, whereas the passing percentage of boys is 47.61. The results would be available on www.bseh.org.in and www.indiaresults.com after 5 pm today. 

Kartik of Nav Durga Senior Secondary School, Jind has secured the first position by scoring 498 marks. Three students; Selina Yadav of Jeevan Jyoti Senior Secondary School,Rewari, Sonali of Saraswati High School, Sirsa and Hari Om of Bal Vidya Niketan Senior Secondary School, Palwal have secured second place by scoring 495 marks each and Riya of SMB Geeta Senior Secondary School, Ambala, Preeti of Paras Senior Secondary School, Mahendragarh and Jigyasa of Tagore School, Panipat have secured third position by scoring 494 marks each. The Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao campaign of the state government has become a public movement.

This was disclosed by Education Minister, Mr Ram Bilas Sharma while announcing the results of Board in Bhiwani today. On the occasion, Chairman of the Board, Dr Jagbir Singh was also present.

Mr Sharma said that the state government is committed to improve the level and quality of education and create such an educational environment for students to achieve best place in all kinds of competitions. The results of secondary and senior secondary examinations have been prepared in completely transparent manner. He said that the results have come to him only by the way the students have performed. He congratulated the meritorious students and their parents for good results.

Mr Sharma appreciated the initiative of digital locker taken by Education Board in line with the Digital India vision of Prime Minister, Mr Narendra Modi. First time, such decision of preserving results and certificates in digital locker has been taken which is appreciable. The candidates can download their results and certificates from the website of Board whenever they required. The Board would also upload certificates and results on digital locker of all candidates from 2004 till date.

He said that the main link in the digital locker is the Aadhaar card of candidates, which is linked to the mobile number. Through digital locker, any agency could examine the certificates and results easily for the purpose of recruitment. After the decision, the code would be released to all Sainik Boards, HSSC and HPSC, which would facilitate to see all the marksheets of the applicants. Similarly, officials and officers of any private company and government sector could do the job verification at their places, which would save them from time wastage and fraud.

He said that the students could see their results on Board’s website www.bseh.org.in and www.indiaresults.com. These results could also be viewed on mobile app ‘Education Board Bhiwani Haryana’ created for the purpose by the Board.

The Chairman of the Board, Dr Jagbir Singh said that 3,64,800 candidates had appeared in the secondary examinations, of which 1,86,586 have passed. As many as 1,97,873 boys had appeared in the examination, of which 94,202 boys have passed and 1,66,927 girls had appeared in the examination, of which 92,384 have passed.
Dr. Singh said that the passing percentage of the government schools in the examination is 44.38 and of private schools is 59.87. In this examination, the passing percentage of students of rural areas is 51.72, whereas the passing percentage of students of urban area is 49.65 percent.

He said that the result of private candidates has been 66.72 per cent. A total of 11,864 candidates had appeared, of which 7,916 have passed. He said that the result would be available from today after 5 pm on Board’s website. The result could be downloaded from the website by using user ID and password of related schools and institutions. If a school does not disclose the results in time, then it would be responsible for it. He said that the facility of internet, helpline and mobile app are being provided to the candidates for making results immediately available to them, the Board office would not be responsible for any kind of technical problem or error in it.

He said that those candidates who wish to get their answer sheets re-examined or re-evaluated, they can apply online within 20 days from the date of declaration of results by paying the prescribed fee.
