SINGERS MESMERISE AUDIENCE ON THE WORLD MUSIC DAY

The Rastriya Kala Mandir and Sikh World Music Academy jointly organized a programme on the World Music Day at the Ramjas Kala Sadan (Auditorium) in Sriganganagar last night.

 
 
Gopichand Arya Mahila College, Abohar Assistant Professor Purti Jain, DAV College Abohar Assistant Prof. Shobhit, MusicMaestro Meenakshi Bhardwaj, TarunAnand, renowned singers Rashmi Arora, Divya Harsh, Sunita Bagri and recipient of National AwardSimarjit Singh enthralled the music lovers with film songs, ghazals, folk songs, Sufi singing and Punjabi songs. 
Dayanand, Tinku Gill, Pankaj Sharma, Kuldeep Arora, PankajPahwa and Sunil Maurya provided accompaniment on the instruments to make the presentations wonderful and lively. 

Chief guest Vimal Bihani, Guest of Honour Sanjay Mundra, Virendra Rajpal and Ashok Chandak inaugurated the program by lighting the lamp. Bihani said that in the songs, ghazals and folk songs presented in the program, the hard work of the artists was clearly visible. The accompanists also provided valuable support in a very thoughtful manner.
