KASHVEE GAUTAM TO LEAD UT GIRLS AT WOMEN'S UNDER 23 T20 TOURNAMENT

UT girls departed from Chandigarh to play Women's Under 23 T20 tournament to be held in Mumbai from December 10. The team is being led by Kashvee Gautam. The team will start its campaign from December 10 against Bihar followed by Delhi on December 11. The next clash is against Gujarat on December 13 and Uttarakhand on December 15. Chandigarh and Uttar Pradesh will face each other on December 19 while the last match is scheduled against Chattisgarh on December 21.

Gujarat in strong position against Chandigarh with 45 runs lead: Gujarat has taken a lead of 58 runs against UT boys on the second day of the ongoing Vijay Trophy Merchant match being played at Pune on Thursday. Earlier, the Chandigarh team could add only 34 runs to its overnight score of 210/6 and collapsed at 244. Ehit Salaria (137) was the top scorer for the side. In reply, Gujarat strengthened its position with 302/5 on the help of unbeaten Sunderesh Bhatt (115) and Patel Kush (71). Ankan Latka (3/64) took the maximum three wickets.
